Job Description

As being a Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical knowledge with sales skills. You must focus to produce results through sales& revenue by breaking into new market as well as farming back into existing customers. Acting as the first face of the company, you are likely to start by delivering the value proposition of the company in the market.Share the business plan, company’s big picture and develop a strategic relationship with the potential customers, vendors and other businesses.Provide the product, service, or component’s technical and engineering information to the customers in the market and gradually working your way up to bigger deals, driving in profits and growth.
Responsibilities include:
  •  Achieve and exceed defined weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute a sales prospecting plan to target and develop key accounts in the given sector
  •  Own and maintain business with existing customers
  •   Work closely with prospective customers and process RFQ’s in ERP and take leads to close the orders.
  •   Coordinate/Collaborate with respective teams to address/resolve customer/supplier queries on a timely basis
  • Rigorous follow up with customers to seek new potential business opportunities and drive them to closure. 
  •  Maintain the right Inventory by projecting the demand to reduce delivery time
  • Analyze and forecast market movements and identify the right approach to sell appropriate components and peripherals.
  •   Own the efforts to ensure timely collection of dues from the market.
  •  Maintain Lost Order report to analyze the focus area and customize the strategy
  •  Maintain a record of activities on a daily basis and fill the details in ERP system on a weekly basis
  •  Always on top of all customer data/tracker with information like Customer Name, nos, Responsible person, R&D, Purchase, Production, and Contact Person. Need to update on what product they manufacture with quantity and whether they are OEM, ODM, T1, T2, T3 etc.
  •   To monitor & map the market for sales and business growth opportunities in the given Sector.
  •   Interact with potential and existing clients to develop new business
  •   Coordination, handling Technical and commercial need, forecasting market and customer production and resolve issues

  •  Follow up with inquires of old customer & new customer to generate sales inquiry or orders
  •   Develop a database of potential customers through referrals, queries, cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking to acquire new customers
  •  To maximize profitable volume growth, market share and client preference in the assigned market
  •  Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, and demonstrate high integrity.
  •  Sending Daily/Monthly business & Collection Report to Management
  •   Co-ordinate with other internal teams including Design, application, marketing, & operations for a smoother transaction

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following

  •  Minimum of two (2) years of sales and marketing experience in the Electronics component and peripherals selling
  •  A degree holder in Electronics, Electronics & communication or related
  • Solid track-record of selling profitable new mid-large accounts and developing prospects within the APAC region and in the electronics industry
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  •  Excellent prospecting, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Confident, proactive and independent
  •  Self-disciplined and self-motivated who is ambitious and hungry for gro
