Job Description

As being a Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical knowledge with sales skills. You must focus to produce results through sales& revenue by breaking into new market as well as farming back into existing customers. Acting as the first face of the company, you are likely to start by delivering the value proposition of the company in the market.Share the business plan, company’s big picture and develop a strategic relationship with the potential customers, vendors and other businesses.Provide the product, service, or component’s technical and engineering information to the customers in the market and gradually working your way up to bigger deals, driving in profits and growth.
Day-to-day Responsibilities include:
1) Generating leads with being the first face to acknowledge who could benefit from your products in a designated region.
2) Prepare and deliver technical presentation explaining company’s deliverable products and know-how to existing or potential customers
3) Perform critical analysis of customer’s requirement and convert them into clients.
4) Provide assistance and guidance to leverage customer planning and engagement (by giving supervised quotes, putting proposal together)
5) Providing pre sales technical assistance and product education and persuade them with this to be the best to satisfy their need.
6) Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trend.
7) Keep track of the customers in the pipeline, their progress or improvement opportunities,
8) Conducts regular business review to comprehend the company’s market position, undertakings, Complications and financial goal to maximize  profitable growth and customer expansion.
9)Other duties as assigned.


1) Typically needs a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
2) Must have 2-5 years of experience in the same field.
3) An out-and-out knowledge of the emerging market trend to impress customers of keeping them ahead of the trend curve.
4) Should be multi-tasking to meet the high complexity of the sales environment and technological knowledge.
5) Team working with leadership skills or independently working ability
6) You should be willing to travel to and from companies and client meetings to acquire customers from the market.
7) Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Ms-excel, Ms-Office skill with formulas, analysis, formatting and manipulation of data and preparing reports.
8) Great communication skills and listening ability with proficiency in English and Hindi speaking
9) Sound judgment with good business sense.
10) Problem-solving skills with tenacity and resilience.
