Job Description

As an Inside Sales representative, you need to focus on the inbound leads from individual requesting tech support which is totally an inside office base. This is the combination of sales, customer service and technical/system knowledge to sell products and components to new and existing customers.
Responsibilities include:
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, internal & external customers.
  • Strong focus on maintaining internal and external customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining database (Sales force, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Effective use of problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Engineering support for electronic end-item test
  • Manage Engineering changes into work packages
  • This position requires the ability to interpret test requirements that define both the hardware IOT and embedded software details of the unit under test as well as the test procedure and measurement boundaries used to determine successful test results.
  •  Achieve and exceed defined weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.       
  • Develop and execute a sales prospecting plan to target and develop key accounts in the given sector.
  • Own and maintain business with existing customers.
  •  Work closely with prospective customers and process RFQ’s in ERP and take leads to close the orders.
  •  Coordinate/Collaborate with respective teams to address/resolve customer/supplier queries on a timely basis.
  •  Rigorous follow up with customers to seek new potential business opportunities and drive them to closure. 
  •   Maintain the right Inventory by projecting the demand to reduce delivery time.
  •  Analyze and forecast market movements and identify the right approach to sell appropriate components and peripherals.

  • Own efforts to ensure timely collection of dues from the market.

  •  Maintain Lost Order report to analyze the focus area and customize the strategy.

  • Always on top of all customer data/tracker with information like Customer Name, no's, Responsible person, R&D, Purchase, Production, and Contact Person. Need to update on what product they manufacture with quantity and whether they are OEM, ODM, T1, T2, T3 etc.

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following -


  •   Minimum of two (2) years of sales and marketing experience in the  Electronics component and peripherals selling.  
  • BE & B .TECH degree holder in Electronics, Electronics & communication or related.
  •  MS Office applications experience- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Hardware/software integration with a good understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics circuits design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with embedded test software concepts.
  • Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills.
  • Interfacing with outside suppliers to manage any instrument investigation/repair, or outsourced work.
  • Experience using basic electronic instruments scopes, meters, etc.
  •   Solid track-record of selling profitable new mid-large accounts and developing prospects within the APAC region and in the electronics industry.
  •  Good command of spoken and written English.
  •   Excellent prospecting, negotiation and presentation skills.
  •   Confident, proactive and independent.
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated who is ambitious and hungry for growth.
